We always like to look back at 2021 and highlight particular design objects that caught our eye and were used in some of our projects. Today we celebrate the Cesta (Spanish for basket) table lamp designed by Miguel Mila for Santa & Cole. With a cherry wood handle and case and an oval-shaped glass shade, this lamp is true perfection. We have used it indoors on a bench top, where it emits a dimmable, warm inviting light and doubles as a feature piece. We have also used the smaller Cestita Alubat portable lamp for a recent project. Suitable for outdoors, the Alubat is charged by a lithium battery and very easy to carry from one place to the other. Total lumens: 300 and provides a soft diffused light.
