The Claremont Lawn Tennis Club (CLTC) borders the golf club and Lake Claremont, with a magnificent outlook over the grass courts and nature beyond. The timber Clubhouse was moved across the railway line to Shenton Road in 1948 and has gone through a number of changes over the years.

 

Our role was to renovate the indoor space used for events, competitions and social tennis gatherings. We designed a fresh interior that focused on bringing the outside in – with a subtle green and blue scheme that lifts the space and links the inside to the balcony views.

 

Multiple seating areas, a new Frame TV placed in a central location, the re-design and layout of Honour boards and a new sound system are all features of the new club space.

 

Member highlights include the ease of viewing social tennis sets on the big screen, and a fresh, open space that capitalises on the magnificent views
